Five Iranian soldiers killed in Syria’s Khan Tuman

Five Iranian soldiers were killed in Khan Tuman near Aleppo, northern Syria, the Army of Conquest announced.
Sources said Syrian regime and Russian warplanes conducted more than 70 airstrikes against Khan Tuman and the surrounding towns in an attempt to regain control of them.
As many as 17 Iranian soldiers were killed on Sunday in Aleppo while 20 were killed on Saturday in the same province, the sources said.
Meanwhile, fighting intensified in the suburbs of Aleppo in recent days despite a ceasefire being agreed on in the city.
Several neighbourhoods witnessed exchanges of fire between government forces and opposition factions overnight.
In central Syria, Daesh cut a major supply route for government forces between the cities of Homs and Palmyra, where violent clashes continue between near a military airport.
